As they grow up we forget,
that everyday matters,
time slips away in a flash,
and all moments are fleeting.
The memories we pave together,
they light a path that leads them into what’s next.
We blink, then we turn around and say,
“How did that possibly happen so quickly?”

Screwing lightbulb into lamp
Mom turning on light in the middle of the night to come into to see the crying baby crib
Little boy (3 or 4) running to turn off the light to go to bed
Home late, parents turn on light while waiting for them to have the talk
Child yells for mom - can you grab my keys? Moms hand turns on light in mud room grabs keys and turns out light
Child holding hands with date, right as they go to kiss, Dad interrupts by flickering the porch lights
Comes home late at night, turns on the light, and surprises parents
Birthday with parents turning 25 turning off lights so they can blow out candles.(Boy with girlfriend.)
